I retrospect, there are probably bigger errors involved than just the wing circulation, so the corrections are not really significant. I would like to know how Ball calibrates the vario too. The GC is now FAI certified (finally!), so there will be controls in place on the altimeter accuracy, but I'm not sure how that would translate to the vario.
